Expanding Liverpool’s Role as a Premier Cruise Destination
Situated on the River Mersey, right in the heart of the city, Liverpool Cruise Port is a key maritime gateway in the UK. One of the newest ports in the GPH network, Liverpool Cruise Port joined GPH in 2024, marking GPH's first venture into the UK.
The port can currently accommodate large cruise vessels up to 1,150 feet in length at a single berth. GPH’s investment will double the vessel capacity and build a new terminal designed to enhance and complement the historic Liverpool Waterfront. The development will allow for the simultaneous berthing of two large ships accommodating over 7,000 passengers a day.
